The business is registered at 13-27 Jackson Ave, Long Island City, NY 11101; use this page to check its hours, phone number and Google rating before you make the trip. Italian restaurants, sub shops, calzone counters and Italian delis sit next to the pizzerias on this site because most of them bake pizza too, often from the same dough. Full-service Italian restaurants take reservations for dinner, add a tip line for table service (15-20% is customary) and usually run a cheaper lunch menu on weekdays. Sub and sandwich shops are counter-order and quick, with sizes by the inch or in half and whole lengths. Calzones and strombolis are priced like a medium pizza and are large enough to share. Italian delis and bakeries sell by weight and by the piece, and many close mid-afternoon.
Hours are published for 6 days a week. On most of those days it is open 12β3 pm. Note that it does not open on Monday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (718) 729-4602. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. Its website is manducatis.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.
On Google it holds a rating of 4.6 out of 5 from 494 reviews, which is a strong result for an italian restaurant in Long Island City and suggests consistent service.
Long Island City is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Traffic in Long Island City peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. Addresses read from the street number up to the city, state abbreviation and five-digit ZIP code; the map link on this page shows the exact spot.

This is a special place. The staff treat you like family. If you are in Queens or LIC, I would strongly recommend coming here. The quality of the food and friendliness of the staff are exceptional. I ordered the prosciutto and melon special and the chicken parmigiana because I was missing a home cooked meal. This place is like coming home. The chicken parmigiana was great, they took incredible care of me. Highly recommend

An old school traditional Italian restaurant where you can tell every piece of gnocchi was made by hand. Incredible find in the hood. Very hospitable staff (especially when we showed up with a baby in a bassinet and had to take up extra space). Would recommend the octopus starter, chicken marsala (so flavourful!) and gnocchi.

We had a wonderful dinner experience here for my boyfriendβs company dinner. This place has a cozy, authentic Italian feel. The octopus and asparagus appetizer was tasty, and so were both the calamari and antipasto. We ordered a few homemade pasta dishes + the veal milanese β cooked to perfection. My favorite part: dessert. That Tartufo was incredible and the lemon sorbet served in a real lemon like they do in Capri β also tasted just as good. The food was all around delicious, fresh and we didnβt feel heavy or crappy afterwards. Everyone was also very pleased with the wine selection. I am very picky with my wine, and I dislike most, but their Pinot Grigio was one of my favorites ever. Also very fairly priced! Aside from the wonderful atmosphere, this is a family-owned business thatβs been around for generations. Our waiter, Vincent, was terrific β sweet, attentive and personable. His dad, Anthony, is the sweetest, and Nonnaβs in the back cooking the dishes β you canβt get a better vibe than this place. It felt like home. I cannot wait to go back.

Had dinner here for the first time, and I was blown away! Such a classic, romantic vibe with delicious food and exceptional service. The veal parm came with a side with pasta with an incredible pomodoro sauce, and the linguine was among the best Iβve ever had. Our waiters were super friendly and gave great recommendations for wine and entrees. Canβt wait to come back!
